It was founded by Paul Lamfrom, the father of current chairperson Gert Boyle in 1938. The Columbia Sportswear company has its headquarters located in Cedar Mill, in Washington County, Oregon, in the Portland metropolitan area near Beaverton. It became the largest American retailer of ski apparel based on gross revenue in 2001. It is situated over 100 locations and has more than 5000 employees working in their company.
Columbia Sportswear Return and Refund Policy
Items purchased can be returned for a refund within 30 days of the acquisition date. Items under clothing and footwear must be returned unworn and in an original state. Any tags or labels found on the item must remain attached or the item won’t be accepted.
Products to be returned can be shipped by using a transporter of the purchaser’s choice. The real delivery comprises a pre-printed tag and a return form that should be attached to the item being returned. While transporting back an item to the Columbia Sportswear the delivery charges will be paid by the sender. For extra safety, it is strongly suggested to use a transport system that is easily traceable.
After the item has been returned is received by the company, it will be examined to ensure that it is in real state and an email will be sent to the purchaser. Purchases made by debit or credit card will be refunded within 3 working days.
Payments that were made using the Columbia Sportswear Company gift card, as well as gift returns, will be refunded through a products credit. 15 working days will be required for processing and issue this credit.
