Canon Inc. is a multinational company in Japan basically centering on the formation of photographing and visual objects, like cameras, camcorders, photocopying machines, steppers, printers and medical tools. Canon Inc. has headquarters placed in Ota, Tokyo, Japan. The company was first founded on August 10, 1937, in Japan by Takeshi Mitarai, Goro Yoshida, Saburo Uchida and Takeo Maeda. It has over 197000 employees working worldwide. In 1947 the company was named as Canon Camera Co. which was later on shortened to Canon Inc. in 1969.

Canon Return and Refund Policy

Items purchased from Canon can be sent back. The purchased items can be exchanged or returned to the Canon online store only if damaged products have not been opened at the Canon store. The product that has to be returned must be in the packing it came in. it should also consist of all the labels, tags and items that came with the purchased product (manuals, cables, etc.). It must also have a copy of the packing slip to qualify for exchange or return. The customer will not be refunded back the delivery and handling charges from the original order. Instruction manuals and CD-ROMS that are not damaged will not be exchanged or returned. If a buyer wants to return a custom made set of products to build your bundle, all bundle items must be returned all at the same time. The customer has to get a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number within 14 days of delivery so that you can return or exchange damaged or unopened products. This RMA number must be written outside the delivery package. Send back the products through Fed Ex, UPS or the delivery company that is traceable.  The company will not be responsible for misplaced products or any damages to the product while shipping.  No return or exchange will be made after the return period finishes.
